How should we respond to the Plan Nord?
Open Space Forum
Saturday, April 14th, 1:30 to 5 :00 pm
UQAM science campus, Coeur des sciences, Chaufferie room
(walk towards the center of the courtyard from 2119 Jeanne-Mance just south of Sherbrooke).
The First Nations Circle of UQAM and Alliance Romaine, PIRG-UQAM, invite you to an afternoon of discussion on actions to take in response to the Plan Nord.
Many organizations across Quebec question the Plan Nord and want to raise a public debate about it. For instance : <www.rqge.qc.ca/content/plan-nord>
At our level, as individuals, collectives and organizations, how can we get active on these issues ?
An Open Space forum allows everyone to suggest a topic and to start a discussion with people interested.
If you wish to present a discussion topic, or a type of action, just come prepared to share your idea, or simply come and join the discussions.
The benefit concert for the Romaine River, planned for the 14th after the forum, is postponed to the beginning of May.
However, during the forum, amazing pictures of the Romaine River will be exposed and sold to raise funds for Alliance Romaine’s activities to protect the river.
This event is the 3rd day of “Plan North : Critics, Knowledge, Action”. Info : <www.gripuqam.org>
